Financial Specialist

Performs and supervises the performance of others in budgeting, financial planning, allotment accounting, voucher examination, and payroll liaison in the Financial Management Office. As the senior Locally Employed Staff, the position has line supervisory authority over the LE Staff employees in the Accounting, Vouchering and Payroll units in the Financial Management Office. Serves as the principal LE Staff financial advisor to the USDH Financial Management Officer in charge. Also serves as an LE Staff certifying officer.
EDUCATION : BA Degree in accounting, business administration, finance, and/or economics required
EXPERIENCE : At least six years of accounting, financial, economic, banking, or vouchering experience. Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.
LANGUAGE : English (Advanced)
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: : Excellent supervisory and interpersonal skills.
