The Financial Reporting Analyst has overall responsibility for reporting Emerson Argentina figures to Corporate under US GAAP and performing monthly follow-up of actual figures against forecasts, jointly with the annual Budget Process.
Given the duties assigned to this role, the position requires working in a multicultural environment with exposure to different levels of managers and partners in the local country, Costa Rica, and the Philippines. The candidate needs to work comfortably within a matrix organization with multiple BUs.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Oversight of POR execution in Automation Solution Division. Produce monthly financial and operational reports. Support month-end activities and timely reporting of financial information to Emerson Business Divisions. Perform monthly analysis of POR-to-Actuals variations and provide explanations to business leaders. Perform balance sheet reviews to ensure information in financial documents is accurately supported and analyses are adequately documented. Review monthly and quarterly provisions according to Corporate Policies and Procedures. Perform the annual budget in collaboration with different areas of the organization. Follow up on critical metric indicators including ITO, DSO, DPO, or equivalent experience. Work closely with local BU and management to analyze performance. Participate in all required training provided by the company, such as those related to Trade Compliance and compliance with legal regulations and/or Corporate Policies, and may also be the mentor/guide of these issues if required. For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience or advanced student (75% approved or more) in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. 5+ years of progressive financial reporting and accounting experience in a multinational environment is strongly preferred. Proficient in English (written and spoken). System Knowledge: HFM and Oracle. Operational improvement mindset. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Package. Knowledge in quality management systems. General basic knowledge of "Normas ISO 9001 sistemas de gestión de calidad", "Normas ISO 45001 seguridad y salud en el trabajo", and "Normas ISO 14001 medio ambiente" (Applicable to Emerson Argentina).
