Finance Reporting and Compliance SpecialistThe Latin America (LATAM) Finance Reporting & Compliance (T&M) team are the dedicated finance business to Balances, Auditing, Financial statements to our LATAM Regional. We are an internationally diverse team, physically located in multiple countries across the region. Together with our primary operational stakeholders, we focus on Performance Management, Business Finance, Business Controlling and Finance Review.
As the Reporting & Compliance Specialist, you will be located at the Buenos Aires, Argentina, office. You will be reporting to the LATAM Finance Director, Head of R&C, located in Santiago de Chile. Your operational stakeholders will be primarily located in Sao Paulo - Brasil, Santiago de Chile, and Buenos Aires, Argentina.
As the Reporting & Compliance Specialist, you will be the primary financial expert and problem solver for the Argentina business. You will develop the relevant controlling and finance processes related to the Operational business, both Service and Construction, from a Finance perspective, cash forecasting and reporting is the main focus, while also assisting in preparation of Auditing, providing analysis and insights.
Responsibilities Perform the monthly and daily cash controlling activities and processes.Weekly consolidate and assess the current cash situation and forecasting results versus annual budget & prior forecast.Monthly, update the potential risks & opportunities on collections (as applicable) to ensure proper forecasting.Proactively engage and collaborate with relevant colleagues and business stakeholders, in order to solve Finance / Compliance issues and problems with speed and quality.Annual assistance and participation on Auditing requirements.Annual contribution to Cost analysis for Province declarations.Qualifications 10 years relevant experience with accounting & cost controlling (project/contract experience preferred), P&L analysis, and business performance management.Bachelors' degree in Finance or Accounting. MBA preferred.Previous experiences in Wind energy is an asset (but not required).Experience with systems including MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint) required as well as SAP experience.Strong proficiencies in both spoken and written English, the official language of Vestas, is required.Flexibility and motivation, some travel should be expected.We expect that you have:
