About the Role Joining the company as the FinOps Head means taking on a key role in shaping the financial strategy and operations of the company across diverse international markets, with a particular focus on Latin America. Collaborating closely with C-level executives, you'll provide essential insights and guidance on financial matters.
What You Will Do Establish and lead the Finance and Accounting functions, defining and implementing an effective controllership framework.Take overall responsibility for managing the company's financial accounts, including profit and loss, cash flow, and balance sheets.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to recognize revenue for products and services, implementing ideas to enhance accuracy and efficiency.Own month-end close tasks related to revenue and receivable accounts, including preparing journal entries and reconciliations to support month-end balances.Assist with reporting, audit requirements, and ad-hoc projects.Regularly inform C-level executives of key finance reporting, activities, and financial risks to the business.What You Will Need (all these are Must-have requirements for the position) 5+ years of experience in financial operations, with a deep understanding of SAAS accounting principles.Experience working in startups that have raised capital, preferably in Series B or C rounds.Prior involvement in the acquisition of new rounds of capital.Demonstrated expertise in managing financial operations for international companies, with a specific focus on Latin America.Prior experience as a Controller, Finance Manager, or equivalent senior position.Proficiency in managing large volumes of data and competence in data reconciliation across various sources.Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related quantitative field.Strong financial modeling and analysis experience with the ability to simplify complex models.
