The Position Manage, lead and support day-to-day kitchen operations Ensure all tasks associated with food production are done according to food safety regulations Develop team and culinary capability, creating an environment of inclusivity Develop menus and meal plans to meet dietary and cultural requirements on site while ensuring maximum utilisation of stocks Able to work under pressure while maintaining a professional manner The Person: Have full work rights in Australia Hold a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or Trade Certificate Have a minimum of four to five (4-5) years work experience in a commercial kitchen Have proficient computer skills Have function and menu development skills Have strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team Able to pass pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening and national police clearance Be flexible to work on a FIFO/DIDO roster, demonstrating adaptability and resilience The Benefits: Meals, accommodation and uniforms during swings are provided Access to well-being and employee programs including Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and on-site health and lifestyle coordinators, offering personal fitness and nutrition plans.
