Job Description As a Field Engineer, you will implement automation solutions. You will develop your technical skills, build customer relationships, and contribute to our growth.
Your Responsibilities:Provide field services to support the installation, startup, maintenance, and operation of automation control systems, drive systems, manufacturing systems, industrial networks, and the individual products which comprise these systems.Improve commercial customer interface, project planning, project and site management and development and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and provision of expert-level service support to resolve complex problems relating to products, technologies, and industry processes.Can handle escalations that involve working with other products, or group of other products outside of their core area.Expertise in applying automation technology to a specific process (e.g., burner management, press control).Identify opportunities for and lead efforts to re-use engineering about application solutions or technologies across multiple projects.Self-perform by interpreting some of the information gathered by the tools and engaging a higher level of expertise.The Essentials – You Will Have:University degree in Electrical, Electronic or Electromechanical Engineering.Minimum 2 years of engineering and field experience.Ability to travel frequently, approximately 80-85% of the time.Ability to communicate effectively with the team and customers, both verbally and in writing.Deliver technical presentations to internal and external customers.Experience collaborating with sales teams and customers.Demonstrate composure and balance in multiple situations, especially when dealing with customer expectations.The Preferred – You Might Also Have:Provide guidance and professional development to other team members.React and respond quickly to urgent customer needs, ensuring quality response.Plan and prepare the necessary resources to meet customer demands.Identify areas of inefficiency and development of improvement plans.Articulation of the value of Rockwell Automation services and solutions to customers and the sales team.Comprehension of Rockwell Automation's strategic framework and how their role contributes to the strategic goals.Understanding of the growth on Rockwell Automation that you will be responsible for in response to urgent customer requests.Willingness to travel to different regions and sub-regions.Take ownership of goals and activities and manage them.Follow safety procedures and guidelines to protect themselves and others.What we offer: Please contact your TA team advisory for details.Reporting to: Territory Service Manager
