Role Summary: As a Field Service Rep, you are responsible for coordinating with customers in field issues, warranty complaints and resolutions. You will carry out and support site commissioning, service and repair jobs at customer sites.
Responsibilities: Order processing and acceptancePrepare cost estimates minus discounts according to specificationsSchedule ordersPrepare quotations for standard products according to predefined listsRead and evaluate customer specifications and customer requirement documentsCompile technical and commercial offer documentsEstablish and maintain strong relationships with customersHandle customer complaintsResearch, develop and implement technical solutions to special problemsCoordinate effectively with internal and external customersEstablish a safe and adequate work area and comply with all safety requirementsPerform repairs and service activities on-site and in-houseProvide technical support and training when requiredOther duties as assignedRequirements: Mechanical Technician or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a degree in a relevant field and 5 to 7 years of relevant experienceStrong verbal and written communication skillsOrganized and efficientProficient in Microsoft Office, including WordKnowledge of SAP in SD; MM; PPAbility to work in a team environmentExperience serving clients in the oil and gas, energy, chemical, water, and other general industriesAbility to change priorities on a daily basis while still producing resultsWillingness to travel to customer sites when necessaryPreferred Skills: Knowledge of AutoCAD, Solid Works, or any technical drawing tool is a plusExperience as a project manager or plannerFlowserve is a world-leading manufacturer and aftermarket service provider of comprehensive flow control systems.
