Purpose of the Position: Responsible for identifying market business opportunities and conducting direct sales of Alfa Laval products and systems within the Food & Water Division in Chile.
This is a senior-level position requiring proven experience in capital sales within the Chilean food industry, with good knowledge of local markets and food process applications. The candidate must demonstrate a higher level of competence, be able to act independently, and capable of taking on additional responsibilities.
Job Description: Follow established sales processes and guidelines to promote and sell Alfa Laval products and systems.Analyze and understand market insights and customer buying behavior, making sales plans according to the business division strategy and targets.Interact with Alfa Laval Business Units to deliver solutions and products to the local food industry.Look for and manage leads from the market and convert them into real business opportunities to ensure the pipeline.Be active in the market, focusing on customer visits, meetings, and interactions to understand their processes and applications while highlighting the value of our products and services.Run the commercial operation by managing the customer grid to build and maintain an active customer network.Use the CRM and other tools consistently and qualitatively to support the sales process and decision-making.Develop highly profitable quotes reflecting customer needs.Profile: Civil Engineering Bachelor's Degree (Chemistry, Mechanical, or Food). A Master's degree in Marketing or Business Administration is a plus.
Labor Experience: At least 10 years of commercial experience selling industrial equipment in companies supplying the food and beverage industries, or engineering companies that provide solutions to it.
Language: Proficiency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
Others: Availability to travel 25% of the time.
