Description Support in preparation of tender and contract documents, specifically "Bills of Quantities," "Material Take Off," and "Bought Out Items," with the architect and/or the client.Undertake cost analysis for Green Field and Brown Field Projects, including repair and maintenance project work.Generation of Schedule of Rates and analysis of Unit Prices for various Scope of Works in Construction Projects.Provide cost-effective proposals, solutions, and alternatives for the project.
Prepare and create Quantity and Cost estimation reports based on Engineering and Construction GA Drawings and Detailed Workshop Drawings.
Monitor overall project with respect to allocated timelines.Implement innovative ideas.Assist in establishing a client's requirements and undertake feasibility studies.Perform risk, value management, and cost control.
Advise on a procurement strategy.Identify, analyze, and develop responses to commercial risks.Prepare and analyze costings for tenders.
Support in allocation of Construction work to subcontractors.Analyze outcomes and write detailed progress reports, including understanding of CPM and various Project Management aspects.Maintain awareness of different building contracts currently in use.Understand the implications of health and safety regulations.
Expertise in checking and quantifying contractor designs and drawings with respect to resource and time requirements.
Incredibly good knowledge of tools: AutoCAD 3D, REVIT, MS Office, Advanced Excel, FAPLIS, Microstation, and PowerPoint Presentation.
Qualifications Minimum 4-6 years of working experience in Construction Quantity Surveying and Estimation.Experience in EPC: CSA and MEP Cost estimation of Industrial Buildings based on various Indian and International standards like Eurocode, American Code, Canadian Code, etc.Expertise in various software like MS Office, Advanced Excel, AutoCAD 3D, Revit, and Microstation.Preparing complete Quantity calculation (Bottom-up Calculation), Cost Estimation, Valuation, and preparation of reports, MIS (Excel, PowerPoint) along with Engineering GA drawings.Firsthand experience in "Work Breakdown Structure," "Cost Breakdown Structure," timeline requirements, evaluation of material, labor, and consumption requirements in order to complete a full-scale project.Good coordination experience with professional staff like architects, consultants, contractors, and various professionals from other disciplines.Advanced knowledge of construction methods, material requirements, and legal regulations.Excellent communication skills are a must; German language expertise shall be an added advantage.Basic knowledge in Agile Methodology approach for projects.OrganizationMercedes-Benz Research and Development India Private Limited
