Job Overview: Monitor all aspects of small to medium sized engineering projects from start to finish. Assists with developing project objectives.
Responsibilities: Responsible for managing small/sub projects under the prospective technology and budget consideration.Coordinates and monitors design and construction activities ensuring compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.Assists with designing operational plans for completing the project.Monitors/assists in monitoring project progress and performance against project plan.Analyzes drawings and communicates discrepancies to vendors for corrections.Prepares and presents progress reports before, during, and after construction.Prepares basic engineering designs and work specifications.Conducts weekly meetings with vendors.Resolves non-routine operational problems and minimizes delays.Participates in regularly scheduled team meetings.Will perform other duties as assigned.Networking: Independent setup of contacts with internal/external Daimler partners and worldwide external business partners.Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related area. 0-2 years of experience.
Knowledge & Skills: Good presentation skills and very confident with computer programs (e.g., Windows programs).
