Here's the role at a glance: The job holder is responsible for:
Assisting in monitoring the receivable portfolio and ensuring that all repayments from customers are made in a timely manner.Managing early delinquencies and newly activated accounts.Supporting overall customer service for Mercedes-Benz Finance & Leasing Business.Attending to customers' (salespersons, dealers, suppliers, end-customers) enquiries.Further roles and responsibilities: Conducting dunning calls to remind customers of repayments for day past due contracts.Implementing and managing collections and remarketing processes and procedures in accordance with the Company's policy.Closely monitoring the performance and activities of Debt Collection and liaising with Repossession agents to ensure proper management of account receivables.Discussing restructuring/rescheduling of overdue contracts with customers.Supporting litigation proceedings against hirers and guarantors, liaising with solicitors and relevant authorities for recovery purposes.Supporting the remarketing process for repossessed/returned vehicles and ensuring timely sales at best prices.Qualifications Education: Degree holder, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business or related discipline.Work/Industry Experience: Minimum 3 years of related working experience, preferably in automotive finance.Technical Knowledge:Good knowledge of MS Office software like Word & Excel.Good spoken and written English.Conversant in Cantonese/Hokkien/Mandarin and local dialects.Good knowledge of Finance Contract Management ERP.Good knowledge of hire purchase terms and processes.Good communication and interpersonal skills (ability to interact with all levels).Ability to quickly adapt to new culture and environment and to work with other departments.Results-driven professional with excellent decision-making skills, capable of developing and executing strategic plans to drive business growth.Ability to multi-task and handle stress.Ability to work in a team as well as independently.Problem-solving skills.Ability to meet deadlines. tactful.If you have the drive to succeed and the desire to work with the best, we invite you to apply.
