Key points and objectives of the position • Accuracy and timeliness of statutory reports
• Delivery reports on schedule for group financials submission
• Compliance of Taiwan Law
• Compliance of reporting standard & of company procedure and policy
• Be responsible for month-end closing and shared service center (SSC) management
• Customer satisfaction including quality of information, and timeliness of accounting service
• Response time of request & cycle time of issue resolved
• Improvement of accounting process and digitalization
• Awareness and implementation of government e-filing measure
• Awareness of the company operation strategy
Description of tasks Shared Service Center (SSC) related:
1) Review & monitor daily operation of posting & reporting (Record to Report) for overall GL management
2) Monitor month-end closing to ensure completeness and timeliness
Non-SSC related:
1) Act as the primary contact window with and independently handle inquiries from the Tax Bureau
2) Act as the primary contact window with shared service center (SSC) management
3) Be responsible for statutory reports including audit report and tax return filing
4) Reconcile withholding tax to GL account for tax audit purpose and requirement
5) Prepare, consolidate and report on all related-party transactions for statutory requirements on a monthly basis
6) Review and submit reports to HQ under group IFRS requirement
7) Review BU accrual lists and compare against open POs to prepare consolidated accrual list for year-end closing purpose
8) Incharge for inventory management including physical stocktaking and scrapping
9) Incharge for overll month-end closing and accounting posting logic in order to fulfill IFRS and MBTw business operations
10) Initiate process improvement ideas and digitalization innovation
11) Project lead for ad hoc projects, e.g. online sales
12) Deputy of approver (Accounting Head)
Qualifications
Experience • At least 10 years of experience in Accounting and related area as role of GL accounting
Personal Skills • Proficiency of PC or system skills including Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPoint and any other ERP system.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English
• Communication and interpersonal skills
