The job holder is responsible for:
To manage and support the Account Receivables and Wholesale Administrative daily operation to ensure day-to-day tasks are managed efficiently.Description:
To handle the account receivable/cash management tasks for MY and other markets (if required) for all channels of payments for retail and corporate customers. Ensure all payments received are processed and updated accordingly. This includes handling Direct Debit receivables that are generated and debited in a timely manner.To manage and ensure timely receipting of miscellaneous items, manual receipting of payment, and receipt reversal. Engage with other business units to ensure closure of unidentified receipts is within the turnaround time for MY and other markets (if required).To handle the end-to-end process of refund of overpayment for MY in a timely manner. This includes contacting the customers and collaborating with other business units to ensure refunds are executed within the turnaround time.Support the bank reconciliation activities to ensure all transactions and open items are closed within the timeline. The efforts include alignment with various business units and banks.Manage and handle Wholesale administration processes (as assigned), which includes floorplan activation for timely pay-out, as well as the timely collections of floorplan facility payments, vehicle releases, settlements, and ensure all tasks are performed in accordance with the respective process flow and work instructions.To ensure Wholesale Inventory Audits are performed as scheduled.To perform other tasks assigned and to participate in projects and initiatives that enhance the retail, wholesale, and corporate processes to include system enhancements for greater efficiency and risk mitigation, testing, procedure refinement, and expense control.Build and foster good working relations with customers, dealers, and Brand Partner personnel involved in day-to-day operations as well as colleagues. Ensure professional business etiquette in verbal and written correspondence with our business partners and customers.Development of self through on-the-job training and participation in company projects and initiatives. Be an active team member by contributing to and supporting a collaborative, learning culture and speak-up culture.Qualifications
EducationDiploma/Degree holder, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related disciplineWork / Industry ExperienceMinimum of 2 years Dealer Wholesale funding/account receivables experience will be a great advantageMinimum of 2 years relevant finance and banking industry experience within the credit, audit risk, and collections environmentSound knowledge of Hire Purchase Act and Wholesale AdministrativeSpecific knowledge and CapabilitiesDemonstrated experience and proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office suite, or equivalent business toolsInventory finance process knowledge for Dealers is a great advantageAble to speak and write English fluentlyPossess the values of integrity, passion, respect & disciplineStrong analytical skillsHighly motivated self-starter to work independently with minimal supervisionDemonstrated a high degree of consistent performance whilst under pressure and/or oppositionUse of initiative to produce completed work of a high standardAn adaptable person whose communication skills, both written & spoken, show well-balanced and logical arguments on matters requiring attentionProcess-oriented with excellent attention to detailIntellectual curiosity, strong problem-solving skills with a demonstrated record of success in an internal or external environmentProactive, committed, outspokenIf you have the drive to succeed and the desire to work with the best, we invite you to apply.
