POSITION TITLE: Bartender- Concessions Associate
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Reports to Manager, Concessions
JOB SUMMARY: The Foundation seeks a talented and customer service driven individual to join us in expanding our Food & Beverage team. Bartender- Concessions Associate should be experienced in mixing, garnishing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to company specifications for guests at the bar. Associates are responsible for keeping the bar stocked, preparing and serving concession food, and keeping the areas clean while always providing friendly and attentive service and adhering to company standards. This position is an excellent way to learn all the workings of a nonprofit organization and make connections with the Garden community.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Mixing, garnishing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to company specificationsInteract with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinksComply with all food and beverage regulationsPrepare food and beverage for service, holding, and storingSet up concessions trailers and bars as needed for serviceTaking orders and making guests feel taken care of during their time at the venues and eventKeeping the bar stocked and cleanProvide friendly and attentive serviceAdhering to company standards for serving alcoholic beveragesEnsuring compliance with all company and food and safety regulationsEnsures alcohol is securely stored when not in usePerforming other duties as assignedREQUIREMENTS:
Additional education, training, certificates or experience may be requiredServSafe CertificationMeets state minimum age to serve alcoholAvailability to work evenings, weekends and holidaysAbility to work outdoors in inclement weather including cold, rain, heat and nighttimePositive, personable and service-focusedAppropriately attired and groomed for positionBasic math and computer skillsAbility to lift up to 30 lbsQUALIFICATIONS:
2+ years bartending experienceExceptional knowledge of beverage craftingStrong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer serviceGreat problem-solving and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environmentExcellent time management and organizational skillsPosition is part-time, seasonal and non-exempt.
