Mercedes-Benz Research & Development Korea is looking for an outstanding Positioning & ETCS Development Engineer who is passionate about shaping the future of vehicles.
As a Function owner, this job position needs an engineer who can develop a Positioning and Electric Toll Collection System (ETCS) functions for MBUX navigation systems.
- Develop and improve the Positioning and ETCS function of the current and future MBUX Navigation system in close collaboration with providers.
- Design, prototype and pitch new ideas in close collaboration with cross-functional partners and suppliers.
- Monitor function status/KPI and troubleshoot problem/issues.
- Perform various tests to ensure maturity of software.
- Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Vehicle Engineering or Computer Engineering/Science or equivalent practical experience.GPA is above average.At least 3 years of experience in Sensor data handling or in RF area- Experience of Electric Toll Collection System (ETCS).Ability to speak and write in English and Korean fluently.Several experience of Navigation development.Korean driver's license holder (eligible for an internal driver license) for passenger cars. Preferred qualifications Good knowledge of embedded SW development, navigation system.Experience in a multicultural working environment.Ability to speak and write in German fluently.Guidelines 1.
