Job Description - Entertainment Product Management (MER0003CW9) Description As product manager of the Entertainment domain, this position is responsible for planning product strategy, designing customer journey, and ensuring the best customer experience aligning with Mercedes-Benz Infotainment Strategy for Chinese customers on Entertainment Products (e.g., Music, Video, Gaming, etc.). This position will work closely with teams in Germany and other international teams and departments across MBGC.
Responsibilities Product strategy, Feature definition and Roadmap management:
• Develop a clear and compelling Entertainment product vision and strategy aligned with company goals and customer needs.
• Collaborate with design/concept and dev team to define or improve product features to ensure a delightful customer experience.
• Strong quality sense to ensure high-quality delivery from the customer perspective.
• Maintain product roadmap to outline feature prioritization, timeline, and milestones.Business development budget management:
• Proactively seek new opportunities for new product collaboration with partners and ensure the budget is efficiently used.Customer research and competitor analysis:
• Conduct user research to understand customer behavior, needs, and pain points to assist in product decision-making.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitors to identify opportunities and improvements.Customer feedback and data analysis:
• Conduct customer feedback and use data analysis methodology to get market feedback after product/feature market launch to assist in improvement.Cross-functional collaboration:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams globally, including UI design/concept, dev team, marketing, project, testing team, etc., to ensure seamless product development and launch.Qualifications Education:
Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Communication Engineering, or a similar major.
Experience:
• 5+ years experience as product manager of digital service.
• Expert in B2C customer product, preferably in Internet or Automobile industry.
• Successfully launched 3+ major customer products as the main responsible person.
• Strong understanding of Automobile infotainment products.
• Excellent in product design and development methodology and familiar with data-driven approaches.
• Excellent in product requirements collection, documentation, and related tools.
• Experience with Mercedes-Benz infotainment products is a plus.
• Experience with Agile development methodology is a plus.
