Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our frontend and backend development teams, reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
This role requires a deep technical background, strong leadership skills, and a proven ability to manage remote teams effectively.
The Engineering Manager will play a critical role in shaping our software architecture, driving technical excellence, and fostering a collaborative and high-performing engineering culture.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a fully remote development team of -20 engineers across frontend and backend disciplines Collaborate with CTO and Chief Al Officer to define and execute the technical vision and strategy for our products Oversee software architecture and ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability of our solutions Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and team deliverables to meet company goals Guide the team in adopting best practices for coding, testing, and DevOps processes Foster a collaborative engineering culture that emphasizes continuous improvement and innovation Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to team members Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the team Required Skills & Experience: Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or related field 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in leadership roles Hands-on experience with both frontend and backend technologies (e.g., React, Python) Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi) Strong software architecture expertise, with a focus on building scalable and maintainable systems Experience with AWS, including certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer) Proven ability to manage and scale remote engineering teams effectively A track record of delivering complex software projects on time and within budget Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills Cl/C2 (advanced/proficient) level English is required Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in startups or similar, fast-paced environments Familiarity with Al and machine learning concepts, tools, and applications Strong understanding of security best practices for cloud-based applications
