Qualifications: Education: Degree in Civil Engineering and master's degree in Structural Engineering (preferred).Essential Criteria: More than total 5 years of professional experience with minimum 2 years of experience in the Water & Wastewater Industry.Experience of working in the water Industry - Structural design of service reservoirs, various Water and Wastewater treatment units, pumping stations, Reservoirs, retaining walls, thrust blocks, Outfalls, Headworks, Manholes, Concrete design mix, Pipe bedding etc. International experience is preferred, mainly UK, Europe.Familiarity with Euro Codes of Practices.Experience of Detailed design drawings, Calculations and Bar Bending Schedules.Design reports and Concrete specifications.Experience of various stages of project delivery - Schematic to Detailed design and Site / Construction Support.Understanding of Interfaces with other disciplines.Understanding of 3D environment, Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, Clash detection, Inter Department Coordination's etc.Microsoft Office Proficient, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Report Writing etc.Desirable Criteria: Software – Autodesk Robot.International experience.Experience of training and mentoring.Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartership. We actively support staff in achieving corporate membership of relevant institutions.Worked before in UK Design and Built Projects.Detailed design of steel structures and connections.Seismic Design of Liquid retaining structures.Other Criteria: Ability to contribute to the project management of detailed design of projects.Ability to apply, promote/improve quality systems.Strong analytical skills.Excellent communication and writing skills, Ability to work collaboratively with clients & colleagues from diverse backgrounds.Team player with strong interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently.Adhere to Company Quality Standards and Protocols.Responsibility and opportunities: As a Structural Engineer, you will be embedded with Civil & Structural team within W&E Practice and will be responsible for projects design outputs, you will need to liaise with Project lead, design Leads and other disciplines alongside this role to deliver work efficiently.
