Design, development and support for the IC Engine system and componentsSupport for drawings, DMU packaging, release parts and assembliesSmooth delivery of the assigned tasksTimely and transparent customer interaction for engineering feasibilityActive support as and when required at the team and department levelSupport for in-house activities, Management review meetings and PresentationsSeamless integration with the global teamsAssist team leader to achieve company goals/objectivesWhen required execute any other task assigned by Department Head, DGM and Reporting managerQualifications
Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Automobile)Knowledge in Engine components and aggregate designWell versed in component design process and engineering calculationsKnow-how of the field issues and resolutionsStrong competency for design review and new ideasAwareness of the design standards (local and international)Must be well versed with the Drawing standards, Data Management, Release management and CoordinationDesign and development of parts with Supplier interactionUG NX tool: Strong in Part Design, assembly design, DMU, Kinematic design, Drawing & Team CentreKnowledge of GD & TGood understanding of Intercultural work managementPreferred Skills: Good communication skills and ability to work in & contribute as a good team playerUsage of tools – MS Office, Databases, project planning toolsExperience in the automotive field and exposure of multi-cultural environment is an added advantageBasic conversation skills in German or Japanese language is an added advantageOrganizationMercedes-Benz Research and Development India Private Limited
