Your Mission as an Electrical Engineer As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing comprehensive electrical systems essential for the operation of our facility projects.
Your expertise will be crucial in meeting project specifications on time and within budget, ensuring seamless coordination across disciplines and timely delivery of project needs.
You will be handling these duties and responsibilities as an Electrical Engineer Review client specifications and align them with company standards during the proposal phase.
Develop and validate electrical design bases and project specifications.
Create technical requirements for electrical equipment and manage preliminary MTOs.
Perform technical evaluations of supplier bids and provide insightful feedback.
Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive project execution.
Lead engineering meetings and ensure timely submission of electrical documents.
Estimate and monitor engineering hours to maintain budget compliance.
Design systems including grounding, lighting, atmospheric, and cathodic protection.
Create electrical load balance and hazardous area classification drawings.
Conduct electrical studies, and review/approve engineering and vendor documentation.
Support HAZOP and SAFOP processes, leading action item closures.
Oversee electrical panel FAT and guide junior engineers/designers.
Provide operational support as needed and stay updated on industry codes and standards.
Engage actively in HSSE programs to promote a safe work environment.
Travel as required for project and business needs.
Qualifications and Skills that will allow you to thrive as an Electrical Engineer Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
Extensive industry experience, particularly in production facility engineering and large-scale oil and gas projects.
Strong background in facilities engineering and construction.
Proficiency in electrical power and grounding systems, HV/MV/LV switchgear, VFDs, transformers, and motors.
In-depth knowledge of IEEE, IEC, NEMA, and other international standards.
Proven expertise in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
Effective communication and leadership skills to manage interdisciplinary interactions.
