Job Overview:Develop a system for managing everchanging product and processes to ensure the quality of project implementation. Manages and supports Engineering projects from start to finish. Develops project objectives by applying best practices including the development and tracking of KPIs. Monitors project budget and timeline. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timelines are properly tracked and escalated. Perform Go and See for projects.
Responsibilities:Evaluate work operations for complete systems, including product processes, cost centers, and various technologies.Develop and implement improvements to workflows, work contents, and workstations.Redefine and document workflows/lead times.Compare operating cycles for multi-machine systems.Conduct and assess workflow studies and workplace design using labor management methods.Discuss results with relevant parties, propose improvement measures, and implement as needed.Participate in primary and detailed planning for complete systems, taking ergonomic findings and considerations and optimal workflow organization into account.Present and evaluate alternatives in the context of the complete system, reconcile solutions and monitor implementation.Record/prepare, interpret and analyze data. Present development, identify discrepancies and provide feedback as appropriate (e.g. in supporting service/target agreement processes), develop measures and monitor implementation.Compare target workforce with actual workforce. Initiate measures aimed at ensuring workforce equalization (e.g. redeployment, workforce expansion/reduction) and provide implementation support.Develop methods and systems (e.g. new target and forecasting systems, new data capture methods for specific applications, work system services, etc.). Provide implementation support and introduce and represent methods.Analyze processes involving a number of parties, interfaces and variables, compile results, identify and evaluate potential improvements using appropriate methods (e.g. MPS/DCPS). Provide implementation support and introduce and represent measures.Perform qualification measures for topics and methods relating to labor management and policy.Identify causes, factual constraints, relationships and dependencies relating to the operational and technical tasks of the specialist departments. Create mutual understanding. Generate acceptance for expert knowledge. Initiate exchange of opinions and opinion-forming processes; make suggestions.Manage cross-functional projects. Structure and subdivide project contents in advance and detail and determine individual process steps/packages of measures. Prepare schedules, project budgets and flow charts. Prepare and reconcile project orders. Manage and monitor project settlement. Track and ensure compliance with targets (e.g. quality, cost, scheduling), including the proposal, reconciliation, initiation and monitoring of remediation measures as required. Report on project status.Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field.Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in Automotive Engineering Project Management.Knowledge and Skills:Demonstrated knowledge in previous Engineering Project Management systems.Able to perform the essential functions of the job.E-mobility experience preferred.Data transmission experience preferred.Cloud and similar IT system experience beneficial.We are all in for change.
