For our office in Montevideo, we are seeking an Ecosystem Builder capable of cultivating and managing a thriving AgriFoodTech ecosystem in the Southern Cone region, with a special focus on Southern Cone stakeholders. This role will involve working with startups, corporations, investors, innovation hubs, universities, research centers, and community partners, fostering collaboration and innovation within this key sector.
The position requires experience in building dynamic ecosystems, the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, and a strategic approach to creating strong partnerships and growth opportunities.
Tasks Identify key areas and stakeholders: Continuously map and analyze key players and trends in the AgriFoodTech ecosystem, focusing on startups, corporations, universities, and investors in the Southern Cone. Build strategic partnerships: Establish and nurture alliances with startups, corporations, universities, and industry events to drive collaboration and growth. Develop growth strategies: Create and implement strategies to foster the AgriFoodTech ecosystem's growth, driving initiatives and connections that benefit all stakeholders. Startup engagement: Collaborate with the team to manage relationships with AgriFoodTech startups in the region, ensuring their active participation. Event and program support: Assist in organizing industry events, workshops, and networking opportunities to strengthen the ecosystem. Social media management: Oversee the hub's social media to effectively promote the ecosystem's activities and engage stakeholders. Requirements At least 3 years of experience in ecosystem development, business development, or innovation management within the AgriFood Sector or startup ecosystem. Proven ability to foster collaboration among diverse stakeholders (startups, corporations, universities, investors, etc.). In-depth knowledge of the regional innovation and AgriFoodTech ecosystem, including key players, market dynamics, and emerging technologies. Understanding of community building methodologies. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage relationships across multiple stakeholders. Fluent in English (C1) and Spanish (C2), both written and spoken, essential for working with international teams and local stakeholders.
