Job Overview To provide Desktop Publishing services, such as formatting, preprocessing, and recreation in any language or format according to the AP clients' needs. The DTP Specialist is assigned to jobs according to the current workload and needs to meet AP quality standards and deliver the final files in a timely manner. Works closely with the Operations team and the proofing team to support efficient workflow and ensure the quality of the final product.
Duties and Responsibilities Complete and deliver each assignment in a timely manner. Ensure each delivery follows AP quality standards and meets clients' expectations. Work together with the DTP Coordinator to guarantee the quality of work and seek improvement possibilities and new solutions. Support the DTP Coordinator in training and giving feedback to Junior DTP Specialists. Assist the Ops team in resolving any questions or doubts related to DTP assignments. Provide time estimates to the Ops team on request. Receive feedback from the DTP Coordinator, proofers, and AP team members and implement necessary changes or improvements. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Visual Communication, or similar. Expert in Adobe programs (InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, etc.) and MS Office. Basic communication skills in English (second language is a plus). Commitment to quality. Ability to effectively use internal reference materials and stylistic guidelines. Ability to follow complex instructions. Thrives under pressure and in a deadline-driven environment. Ability to prioritize tasks and assignments. Effective team player.
