Who are we looking for?Our client is seeking a Field Compliance Coordinator to join our Downstream OE & Compliance Division (DSOE&CD).
DSOE&CD is responsible for providing HSE guidance, support, and oversight to the entire Downstream Portfolio.
Your primary role will be to assist with planning, establishing, implementing, and maintaining a variety of safety and environmental measures and initiatives to ensure compliance with corporate and local department HSE requirements and expectations.
Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in engineering, safety engineering, industrial hygiene, or environmental science from a recognized and approved program.
An advanced degree is preferred.Minimum of 8 years of related safety/operational experience and/or training, preferably in the oil/gas or petrochemical industry.Knowledge or training in occupational health, safety, and environmental compliance with applicable industry, governmental, and/or international standards.Knowledge of delivering hands-on health, safety, and environmental training.Ability to assist with developing, implementing, and coordinating comprehensive health and safety programs.Ability to lead and direct teams and/or committees.
Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).Skilled in the standards, concepts, practices, and procedures within the health, safety, and environmental fields.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide advice and consultation to department staff to assist in maintaining a safe working environment in compliance with environmental/safety regulations, standards, and practices.Identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices in the workplace.
Conduct surveys to identify and evaluate occupational health, safety, and environmental conditions.
Conduct and coordinate on-site inspections to audit physical conditions and safe work practices.Perform construction site and/or area safety inspections of department facilities and operations.
Prepare written reports and recommendations.Develop controls for identified hazards.
Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of the hazard control system, policies, and procedures.Prepare safety orientations, safety training, and job site inspection procedures.
Conduct specialized safety and environmental training programs.Participate in Safe Operations Committee meetings.Review and analyze injury, property damage, and statistical loss data and work with management to prepare recommendations for corrective action.Incorporate essential safety requirements in all purchasing and contracting actions.Maintain awareness of corporate safety requirements and make recommendations for their implementation.Job BenefitsMonthly Base Salary – aligned with company employees with similar skills.Monthly Overbase – 25% of your monthly base salary.Benefits Supplement – 20% of your monthly base salary, increasing with years of service.Severance Package – 2-year vest period.Employment Tax – specific tax implications to be checked with tax advisor.Employee Share Purchase Plan (ESPP) – eligible after 12 months of service.Incentive Plan – annual; based on performance.Travel Allowance – annual; based on household member age.Vacation & Paid Holidays – generous vacation days and paid holidays.Medical/Dental Plan – complimentary in-Kingdom medical care.Educational Assistance Plan (EAP) – assistance for children's education.Settling in Allowance – one-time payment based on family status.
