We are searching for Director of Sales, e-Commerce , a dynamic and driven sales leader with over 7 years of e-commerce expertise to spearhead and expand our Amazon and omnichannel ventures.
The perfect candidate boasts a proven track record of launching and scaling brands on Amazon's 1P marketplace, seamlessly blending strategic vision with hands-on execution.
This individual is a proactive leader, ready to tackle tasks of all sizes to propel the business forward.
They are exceptionally organized, an analytical thinker, and a collaborative partner with a strong passion for understanding consumer insights.
Their decision-making is data-driven and customer-focused, with a relentless drive for results and continuous improvement.
This role can be remote in the US or work on-site in Fort Mill, SC.
Key Responsibilities: Own Amazon ecommerce P&L as well as select other e-Commerce accounts, including our D2C site, and provide thought leadership for our omni-channel digital strategy.
Own the relationship with Amazon, serving as the key point of contact for negotiations, strategic planning, and other engagements.
Develop and execute the Amazon and ecommerce strategies and sales plans, including product selection, pricing recommendations, detail page optimizations and SEO, ads management, operational improvements, reviews management, customer experience, and deals/promotions.
Develop long-term sales forecasts, demand plans, and supporting roadmaps.
Work closely with the Amazon Brand Registry team to protect our Brand and IP and create an accurate and trusted experience for customers on Amazon while defending against third-party sellers.
Lead and collaborate in a matrixed organization of key stakeholders across the business including Supply Chain, Distribution, Engineering, Finance, Customer Service, Legal, and Marketing to prioritize key projects and programs.
Manage Amazon advertising and agency relationships.
Manage MAP policy, budgets, reporting, tools and campaigns / promotions.
Manage channel conflicts by working closely with peers to ensure the best possible outcomes for our customers and the overall business.
Own reporting & analytics for Amazon generating the needed monthly, weekly, and daily reports to analyze and interpret data to uncover successes and opportunities that will assist in delivering growth objectives.
Be the internal subject matter expert on all things Amazon.
Lead and manage the development and execution of our Amazon channel business via the utilization of Vendor Central, FBA, AMS, Consumer Reviews, Enhanced Content, SEO, Merchandising and AMG, etc.
Skills & Attributes: Proven work experience with Amazon.
Proven work experience analyzing data to drive channel optimization.
Strong financial acumen.
Work experience with managing consumer brands.
Experience managing outside advertising and market data agencies.
Experience implementing and optimizing product content.
Team management experience.
Experience with communicating/interacting directly with consumers.
Strong analytical skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and leadership ability.
Sales experience, good judgment and negotiation skills.
Experience with optimizing the digital sales funnel.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
Experience Required: 7+ years of e-Commerce sales experience.
Additional traditional retail sales experience desired.
Manage mature portfolio.
Intimate knowledge of all selling platforms.
Bachelors degree required.
Consumer durable goods experience.
