Objective of Job:
- Collect and analyze the production management and optimization demands for the digitalization tools.
- Develop digitalization tools based on the joining and production demand.
- Extend local BBAC digital tools to global Daimler plants.
- Learn and extend the digital best-practice from global Daimler plants.
Task Description: Collect and analyze digital development demand:
Understand the Bodyshop production processing. Collect the demand of digital tool development that can help production management and optimization. Analyze the possibility and investment value of development. Utilize data analytics to identify trends and measure the success of digital initiatives.Develop and deploy digital tools:
Develop a strategic roadmap for digital transformation, proposing innovative solutions and technologies. Develop the digital tools based on production demands including data collection, data mining, back end optimization, front end interface building.Extend the local digital tools to global plants:
Extend local developed digital tools to global MB plants. Prepare and introduce the performance and benefits to other plant engineers.Learn and extend best-practice from other plants:
Learn the practical digital tools from other MB plants. Introduce the digital tools to local engineers and evaluate its potential values. Facilitate knowledge sharing and training to promote a culture of continuous learning and innovation.Qualifications: Bachelor or Master degree in IT, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering or similar education.Work experience of minimum 3 years in Automotive Industry in the field of production, maintenance, planning or similar industrial occupation preferred.Knowledge of manufacturing processes in the automotive industry is advantageous.Analytical mindset with the ability to think strategically and problem-solve creatively.Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.Ability in coding, database and web development. Python, SQL, Web, PowerBI preferred.Fluency in English (speaking, reading, writing, listening). Chinese and German are optional but preferred.
