We are seeking a dedicated Digital Learning Manager to maximize productivity and enhance brand value for Mercedes-Benz passenger cars through the planning and delivery of digital learning content. This role involves providing diverse digital training, ensuring successful outcomes, and collaborating with various stakeholders to develop innovative training methods. Ultimately, the manager will implement an effective digital learning landscape aligned with the Mercedes-Benz Global Training Portfolio.
Your responsibilities are:
Execution of Digital Training / AssessmentDigital Learning Management: Oversee the management of digital learning content within GTLS, specifically tailored for key job profiles in the dealer network, including Management, Sales, and Aftersales roles.Digital Training Roll-Out: Strategically plan and implement digital training initiatives authorized by Mercedes-Benz Global Training for the dealer network.Platform Management: Administer digital learning platforms such as Global Training Learning Space and GT App. Possess a comprehensive understanding of IT systems to identify and rectify system errors, including aspects of computer programming.Training Quality and Success ManagementQuality Strategy Development: Formulate a long-term strategy to ensure superior training quality through diverse digital training methods and analytical tools.Portfolio Review and Optimization: Evaluate the digital training portfolio and propose optimized plans to integrate with existing face-to-face (F2F) training programs and to introduce independent digital training initiatives.Trainer Development: Train trainers on the effective utilization of digital content in their training activities.Studio and Equipment Management: Oversee the management and development of virtual classroom facilities, including live streaming equipment and mixers.Content Dubbing Management: Supervise the dubbing process for content used in digital training.Design & Development of Digital Training ContentConcept Development: Participate in the development of global training concepts for digital content, ensuring alignment with market-specific training needs.Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to align business objectives with digital learning strategies.Content Localization: Adapt digital training content produced by Global Training to suit local market conditions and requirements.Localized Production: Design agile and on-demand localized production concepts.Content Diversity: Utilize content development tools such as Articulate 360 to enhance content diversity.Planning & ReportingChannel Management: Manage the digital training channel (GTLS) to communicate with dealer focal points, sharing plans and monitoring execution progress.HR Partner Collaboration: Engage discussions with dealer HR partners to incorporate their employees' individual development plans into the Retail Career Management Program.Long-Term Communication: Manage communication with dealer management, focusing on long-term implications.P&L ManagementInvestment Planning: Develop an investment plan for the digital elements required for long-term digital training initiatives.Content Conversion: Convert training content and materials into digital formats to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with vendors, including translation service providers and content developers.QualificationsEducation: Minimum B.A. degree in Information technology or relevant Digital fields.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive industry.Minimum 5 years of experience in IT industry.Minimum 5 years of experience in content development.Specific Knowledge: Automotive industry knowledge.IT software utilization skill for Training operation and training material production.Dealer network operations.Translation & interpretation skills in between Korean and English.
