Digital Learning Assistant Role overview: Supporting the Digital Learning Specialist, the primary focus will be to provide assistance with our digital learning environment available across a variety of channels.
They will be required to assist with the creation of materials and interactions ensuring that all branding, template and accessibility guidelines are adhered to, as well as identify how and where to use graphics, audio, video and interactivity to promote colleague engagement.
Responsibilities: Assist with the creation and update of materials and activities across a variety of programmes, ensuring high quality and consistency Provide support in the creation and processing of e-learning modules for colleagues across the business; through the appropriate design and incorporation of multimedia and interaction to enhance the usability, accessibility and presentation of content Working with people advisors to understand and clearly articulate learning outcomes from programmes and translating these into digital credentials which will help lead to successful outcomes for learners Work with the Digital Learning Specialist, contributing to the overall project implementation plan, taking ownership and responsibility for delivery of agreed outputs in an accurate and timely manner Liaise with other key stakeholders and team members to effectively communicate the benefits of digital credentials in supporting learner engagement and progression Support online & blended learning project development activities Capture assets at a variety of events lead by the People Development team to promote our learning offering and attract new talent Role objectives and KPI's: Consistency and high quality design work across all channels Evolving and innovative approach to engaging content Ensure content design adheres to brand guidelines Ensure JD Groups mission, vision and values are incorporated in the design of all relevant materials Competencies: 1 Working with People 1 Relating and Networking 1 Learning and Researching 1 Planning and Organising 3 Following Instructions and Procedures 1 Achieving Personal Work Goals and Objectives Skills and Experience: Experience in the design of engaging content for learning Excellent communication skills Expertise/Advanced user of Microsoft Office 365 Adobe Suite experience preferable Experience of working in online spaces and understanding of digital capabilities Training requirements for the role: Rise 365 and Storyline Adobe Photoshop Adobe Illustrator Adobe Indesign Microsoft Office Photography Video capture and editing Communication skills Team work The Company: The JD Group is a leading omnichannel retailer of Sports Fashion, Street & Premium Fashion, Outdoors and Gyms with over 60,000 colleagues over 3,400 stores across several retail fascia's in over 30 markets around the world.
