Job Description - Development Engineer for Interior Components (Cockpit and Door trim) (MER0003AU0)Technical Skills: 8-10 Years Experience in Automotive Interior Component Developments (e.g. Instrument Panel, Center Console, Door trims)Experience in supplier management and internal stakeholder managementExperience in creating proof of specifications/book of requirementsKnowledge of manufacturing processes of Interior Component (e.g. Instrument Panel, Center Console, Door trims)Knowledge of Packaging Requirements (Overall Vehicle) of Instrument Panel, Center Console, Door trimsKnowledge of regulatory requirements of ECE, FMVSS, China, etcKnow-how of Product Development Cycle for Automotive Interior ComponentsKnow-how of PPAP for Automotive Interior ComponentsKnowledge of Interior Component materials and their specificationKnowledge of GD & T, Data Management/Change management processes and drawing standardsKnowledge of Plastic Part Design, Tooling, and Manufacturing processesData management (Data archiving, release ready, 2D Drawing creation)Know-how knowledge about either of Enovia/VPM/Team CentreSoft Skills: Highly motivated, proactive engineerStrong in Analytical Skills, Presentation SkillStrong communication skillsStrong Problem Solving SkillsStrong Interpersonal skillsWritten and Verbal professional communication in English languageAdd on Advantages: Experience working with International OEM/SupplierOrganizationOrganization: Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India Private Limited
