Job description: Eramine Sudamérica SA is a subsidiary of Eramet, a French global mining and metallurgical group. It is located in the Salar Centenario Ratones, 3,800 meters above sea level, in the department of Los Andes, in Salta, Argentina. Exploration activities started 12 years ago and at the end of 2019 our pilot plant started operating, providing a demonstration of the quality of the final lithium carbonate product, with more than 90% direct extraction efficiency.
Responsibilities:
The tasks representing the major responsibilities of the position are as follows:
Establish the project implementation plan (schedule, necessary resources, contractual strategy, time to complete the different stages of the project, etc.)Determine the budget and define and optimize the resources needed (human, technical, financial, etc.) to carry out the projectCoordinate the activity of the actors involved in the project (suppliers, subcontractors, etc.)Constitute, lead and supervise the project teamControl and monitor the progress of the project and the respect of the contract in terms of deadline, budget, quality, safety and compliance with the Business PlanMaintain a final forecast on these dimensions that reflects the knowledge to date about the progress of the projectEnsure accurate and consistent reportingManage and anticipate risksAlert the Steering Committee of any deviation from the Project Mandate and keep the other members of the project team informedManage change requests in a way that minimizes the impact on the project and ensures the stability of the scopeManage relations with external stakeholders (customer, suppliers, partners, authorities, etc.)Provide regular project updates and reports to the Project Director and other key stakeholdersAddress any issues or concerns raised by stakeholders promptly and effectivelyMonitor project expenditures and ensure adherence to the project budget. Prepare financial reports and forecasts, identifying any potential cost overruns and implementing corrective actionsAssist in securing additional funding or resources as needed to support project objectivesAbout you: A master's degree in engineeringMinimum of 10 years of experience in Industrial or Mining projects, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within middle or large-scale projectsStrong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
