Reporting to National Operations Manager, the Demand & Supply Planning Analyst is responsible for maintaining the IBP system updated during the S&OP Cycle with sales forecast changes and all supply chain assumptions, ensuring the medium and long term aligned with the business strategy. The position must turn Red Bull strategy plans into daily basis tactical actions executing demand planning for finished goods through these actions to assure their availability that reflects the premium brand of Red Bull.
Manage the stocks and importation process ensuring fast communication, transparency, flexibility, and efficiency. Run Red Bull Standard Operations Processes in cooperation with the Red Bull International Operation team.
Job DescriptionPLANNING & STRATEGYResponsible for analyzing the historical sales data, trends, base growth, distribution, market share and create/analyze a statistical forecast and determine the Operations Demand Plan in order to challenge/align with the Sales Demand Plan.
Collaborate with Sales to understand the past performance of sales, drive root cause analyses to understand errors in prior periods and highlight inconsistencies in the latest data. Challenge the latest sales demand plan to understand underlying assumptions and compare with the Operations Demand Plan.
In collaboration with Sales, Finance and Operations, align on the consensus Demand Plan during the monthly Demand Planning Meeting and the S&OP Meeting, update/fill out/adjust the Demand Plan in the planning tools in accordance with the consensus.
Create a robust planning function to support continuous improvement for the Business, identifying risks and opportunities to the operating plan and financial framework.
Support the achievement and reporting of forecasting (accuracy) targets.
Provide insights to the OPS Manager to conduct fact-based portfolio management and to implement a yearly SKU portfolio review cycle based on complexity and costs matrix.
S&OP PROCESSResponsible for leading the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process using the IBP tool, improving the service level to customers through CANS availability, proper inventory level and consequently, avoid disruptions while keeping proper import and warehousing costs.
Lead NPD (new product development) process to assure launches in accordance to the calendars, proper phase in and outs and costs.
Maintain and ensure accuracy of Material Master Data, the purchase price variance and the transitions of the new and phasing out SKUs and Visits. That is in RB systems and in the local food registration agencies or certifications entities.
Implement the globally balanced S&OP in the local supply planning execution, including rolling forecast for 3PLs on inbound and outbound volumes and the corresponding follow-up.
SUPPLY & DEMAND PLANNINGTranslate monthly (globally balanced) supply plan to a weekly planning according to the guidelines, restrictions from Global Supply Chain Planning & Global Logistics HQ.
Establish and manage inventory levels, perform the DOH control, avoid overstocks, out of stocks and ensure a healthy age product. Alert the Operations Manager in case of risks in inventory management and provide a plan to reduce risks.
Ensure timely and effective distribution of finished goods across Red Bull's DC network in order to fulfill customer orders in accordance with the sales and marketing plans.
Lead solutions findings and execution of demand and supply imbalances.
IMPORT & INBOUNDProvide to the Logistics analyst and to the customs agents the rolling forecast for 3PLs on inbound and outbound volume and the related documentation for the import process.
Follow the import operation in order to assure Finished Goods availability according to business needs.
QualificationsDemonstrated 5 plus years of experience working in areas of Demand & Supply Planning and Sales forecasting; knowledge of the Import process will be a plus.
Comprehensive knowledge of retail accounts operations, forecasting technology, systems, market research data and supply chain management.
Excellent communication skills, including presenting and ability to develop relationships with other areas of the business, particularly the Sales, Finance and Marketing teams.
Proven ability to conduct complex, quantitative and statistical analyses complemented with qualitative inputs from multiple sources to draw conclusions and make recommendations.
Strong leadership skills, can motivate and lead teams.
Deep knowledge and experience in SAP – ERP & Planning tools. Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field.
