Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role. Proficiency in database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Microsoft SQL Server. Strong understanding of database design principles and normalization. Experience with database performance tuning and optimization. Knowledge of database security best practices. Familiarity with backup and recovery processes. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team. Preferred Skills: Certification in database administration (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator). Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra). Familiarity with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure Database). Understanding of data warehousing concepts. Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python).
