Job Description - Data Scientist (MER000363K) Description Lead a team of Data Engineers and Developers to execute and deliver the project. Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture in Azure. Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc. Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using Azure 'big data' technologies. Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics. Work with business stakeholders to understand the requirement, design and implement the solution. Work with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs. Communicate the status of the projects to stakeholders, identify risks and create the plan to mitigate them. Qualifications Qualification: B.Tech, BE, M.Tech or ME degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
Mandatory Skills: 7+ years of Python development experience. 5+ years of PySpark development experience. 4+ years of SQL experience (No-SQL experience is a plus). 4+ years of experience with schema design and dimensional data modeling. 7+ years of experience on Azure & ADF. Strong experience in leading high motivated development team. Strong designing, building, and maintaining data processing systems skills. Experience in creating bronze, silver and gold architecture. Experience building/operating highly available, distributed systems of data extraction, ingestion, and processing of large data sets. Demonstrated strength in data modeling and ETL development. Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring other engineers for best practices on data engineering. Knowledge of software engineering best practices across the development lifecycle, including agile methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source management, build processes, testing, and operations. Mindset and analytical skills towards continuous improvement and have an edge to always research on latest technologies. Passion for building great notification experiences which directly impacts our customers. Excellent oral and written communication skills with a keen sense of customer service.
