As a Data Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for leading the integration of data from various sources, ensuring that it is accurate, timely, and consistent. You will also lead a team of data integration specialists and be the primary point of contact for client-facing activities related to data integration projects.
Contract Phase:Initially, you will be engaged as a contractor working remotely. You will need to register with Argentine tax authorities and choose an appropriate tax regime, such as Monotributo or the general tax regime (Responsable Inscripto). You will be responsible for issuing invoices for the services you provide and will receive payment in US dollars. Once our Buenos Aires office is established, we plan to offer contractors the opportunity to transition to full-time, onsite positions
Key Responsibilities: Lead the data integration team to deliver high-quality data integration solutions. Define, design and develop data integration processes and procedures to ensure data accuracy and consistency. Manage data mapping and transformation activities to integrate data from various sources. Work with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and recommend data integration solutions. Develop and maintain data integration standards and best practices. Develop and maintain documentation related to data integration activities. Ensure that data integration projects are completed on time and within budget. Act as the primary point of contact for client-facing activities related to data integration projects. Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to implement data integration solutions that meet client needs. Monitor and optimize data integration processes to ensure maximum efficiency. Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure data integration activities are aligned with organizational objectives. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in data integration, including experience managing a team of data integration specialists. Strong understanding of data integration concepts, tools, and technologies. Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and clients. Experience with data mapping and transformation, ETL tools, and data warehousing. Strong understanding of data modeling and database design. Experience with cloud-based data integration platforms such as AWS Glue, Microsoft Azure Data Factory, or Google Cloud Dataflow. Strong understanding of data governance and security best practices. Salary: will be paid in US Dollars
