Intro
We're seeking a skilled individual to join our team as a Data Analyst and Data Business Architect, and Technical Lead at Mercedes-Benz Korea Ltd. , you will blend technical expertise with business acumen to drive data-driven decision-making and strategic business transformation of our company. You will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, architecting data solutions, and translating business requirements into technical specifications.
Data Analysis:
· Conduct in-depth analysis of structured and unstructured data to extract meaningful insights and trends.
· Develop data models, dashboards, and reports to visualize and communicate key findings to stakeholders.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
· Provide technical leadership and guidance on data analytics best practices, tools, and technologies.
Data Business Architecture:
· Design and architect data solutions and data pipelines to support business processes and strategic objectives.
· Define data models, schemas, and architectures using frameworks such as Databricks, DevOps and GitHub to ensure data consistency, integrity, and security.
· Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop data-driven strategies to address them.
Data Governance and Compliance:
· Ensure compliance with data governance policies, standards, and regulations.
· Establish data quality standards and procedures to maintain data accuracy and reliability.
· Implement data governance frameworks to govern data usage, access, and security.
Collaboration and Communication:
· Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business objectives, and align data initiatives with strategic goals.
· Communicate complex technical concepts and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
· Work closely with the Data Analytics, Engineering, and Automation team members to drive synergy and alignment across projects and initiatives.
· Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in data analytics and business architecture.
· Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and optimization to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
· Foster a culture of innovation and knowledge sharing within the organization through collaboration and cross-functional teamwork.
Qualifications
Education
4 year university graduate
Master's degree in computer science, data analytics, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Experience
Min 3 years' experience in data analytics, business intelligence and/or science.
Additional Experience (2-3 years) in automotive industry, process- and project management or related fields is advantageous.
Specific knowledge
Depth knowledge of data analytics, engineering and science, business architecture, or a related role.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, etc. as well Microsoft Power Platform automation solutions.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and generate actionable insights.
Experience in designing and implementing data models, dashboards, and reports.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, both Korean and English (verbal, written and presentation)
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
Strong problem-solving-, adaptability skills and attention to detail.
