Customer Logistics Manager - Latin America The Customer Logistics Manager, Latin America is responsible for actively supporting the achievement of Essity's operational objectives in terms of sales, service and cost. The Customer Logistics Manager ensures and improves the performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of the organization through effective strategies and actions. The role will be responsible and accountable in Latin America Health & Medical for the effective and efficient management of the following functions: Customer Service, Market Facing Warehousing, Inbound Logistics & Outbound Logistics and Business Demand Planning. What You Will Do Co-ordinate and supervise various organization functions:
Coordinate, manage and monitor the workings of Customer Logistics in the LATAM. Ensure the smooth operation of the above functions by providing clear direction and focus, assigning clear responsibilities, measuring performance, providing recognition of performance and by encouraging personal and team development.Review financial statements and data:
Develop relevant annual budgets and manage the Customer Logistics function so that the annual budget is achieved. Utilize financial data to improve efficiency. Prepare and control operational budgets. Control inventory. Recommend effective strategies for the financial well-being of the LATAM business.Improve Best Practices procedures:
Improve processes and policies in support of organizational goals. Formulate and implement departmental and organizational policies and procedures to maximize output. Monitor adherence to rules, regulations and procedures. Advocate continuous improvement and the utilization of quality systems to its full potential.Support and Co-ordinate Supply Chain:
Conceptualize and propose effective operations processes and systems to achieve and/or exceed the organization's business requirements, maintain its market leadership position and provide the organization with a competitive advantage. Ensure the practicality of proposed operations project initiatives by evaluating the feasibility of proposals in terms of deliverables, practicality, technology required to implement, cost and time of implementation and by recommending appropriate courses of action.Communicate and support cross functionally:
Facilitate coordination and communication between functions. Collaborate cross functionally to drive improvements in the LATAM business (both commercially and operationally). Encourage and empower cross functional team to effectively and efficiently execute the LATAM Sales & Operations Planning processes. Oversee the operational demand and supply performance and ensure the global supply chain supports the needs of the LATAM business.Manage customer service outcomes:
Creates and supports an organization culture which fosters open communication, listens and acts with empathy, mentors and coaches' staff to strive for high performance. Lead the Customer Logistics function within the LATAM business to deliver superior customer service outcomes.Liaise with top management:
Participate in strategic planning activities to ensure the Customer Logistics function contributes to the achievement of corporate objectives.
