Department Overview The New Vehicle Sales department focuses on data-driven approaches to business development, short- and long-term planning, operational execution partnered with Dealer Network, and measurement of programs through sales effectiveness.
Mercedes-Benz USA Customer Excellence Junior Associate Consultant Overview and Responsibilities The Junior Associate Consultant (JAC) is a highly visible jack of all trades that will support and lead complex, multidisciplinary projects from start to finish. We are the customer-facing arm of the company. The knowledge gathered from working in our area will serve any candidate in any future role they apply for. Understanding the customer experience in addition to the field and dealer organizations is key to success in the automotive industry. This role will specifically focus on a project related to Lemon Law Buybacks.
Responsibilities Assigning casesLearning about dealer processes and attending meetingsReviewing repair orders to determine buyback reasons such as 1) Backorder Parts 2) Failure of Dealership Process, etc.Required Qualifications: Senior in a Bachelor's program:Preferred fields of study: Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management.Demonstrated ability to provide accurate data and reports under tight time constraints.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with a focus on Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.Analytical and critical mindset with attention to detail.Self-starter with a flexible, hands-on mentality.Strong problem formulation, problem-solving, time management, and prioritization skills.Strong oral and written communication skills.Additional Information Available from November 2024 - April 2025Hybrid in-person schedule, up to 28 hours maximumProof of Proficiency (Portfolio, Recommendation Letters, etc.)EEO Statement Mercedes-Benz USA is committed to fostering an inclusive environment that appreciates and leverages the diversity of our team.
