Job Area Experience & Qualification 1-4 Years, B.E./ B.Tech in Mechanical, Production / Electrical (E/E) Work Location Bangalore, (Candidate must be open to travel Domestic/International)
Mandatory Skills Required Knowledge of Automotive design & development process for Exterior Components such as Covering Lamps, ORVM, Claddings, Chrome Plated parts, Bumpers etc. Chassis Components as well as Automotive Software & Vehicle Architecture. Good know-how of various manufacturing processes such as Stamping, Injection molding, blow molding, Rapid Prototyping techniques, parts testing (design verification), Software development Process etc. Automotive Industry relevant Techno-commercial know-how. Excellent Communication, Presentation & Coordination, Stakeholder Management & analytical thinking skills. Experience in Target Cost (design & development cost) Calculation & Negotiations. Knowledge of Indian, Chinese & European cost structures. Experience in handling Global suppliers. Knowledge of Chinese Language is an added advantage. Must be a good team player, quick learner, agile and customer-oriented. Responsibilities Target/Reference cost calculation & Negotiation for Design & Development Cost Topics. Evaluation of supplier techno-commercial proposals and gap analysis. Communication with various stakeholders such as Design/Engineering, Purchase, Project Teams & Suppliers. Tracking and updating the project status. Assist team leader to achieve company goals/objectives. Proficiency in Excel, SAP, Costing Tools, Basic CAD etc. Commodity Responsibility Exterior, Chassis Components & Automotive Software. Qualifications 1-4 Years, B.E./ B.Tech in Mechanical, Production / Electrical (E/E)
