Job Duties And Responsibilities: Reporting to headquarters in Spain, she/he will be the primary legal business partner in Argentina, providing legal advice in coordination with local legal counsel on corporate matters including, among others, powers of attorney, annual accounts, share transfers, and corporate governance.Support in any M&A transactions and corporate reorganizations that may arise, including due diligence, acquisition agreements, investment agreements, shareholders' agreements, mergers, and asset purchase agreements.Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements and ancillary documents.Communicate with and manage any third-party bodies such as external counsels, public notaries, or auditors.Support with the authorization and maintenance of licenses with Regulators in Latam.Draft regulatory analysis reports.Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations that apply to the business.Promote legal, compliance, and risk management best practices throughout the company.Design and deliver legal training to the business and operational teams.Work closely with the commercial and compliance departments.Stay up to date with changes to legislation, particularly in relation to laws, rules, and regulations that directly affect the business.Knowledge or experience in the payment sector industry, fintech regulations, and digital wallet business will be an asset.Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Law.Fluent in Spanish and English; Portuguese will be a plus.Experience of 12-16 years in similar roles, in a multi-national environment.Experience providing legal advice in various jurisdictions gained in a major international law firm or in an international payments/payment processing company.Experience managing a team.Outstanding analytical skills.Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.Good organizational/time management skills and structural thinking.What We Offer: Opportunities to grow within a company in a hypergrowth stage.Additional days of holidays!Free lunch in the office.Excellent work environment and good collaboration.Free coffee/tea, fruits, and snacks from the company.
