How you'll play your part We're looking for someone dynamic and proactive, who will be pivotal in supporting all Mercedes-Benz Cars Customer Service and Product Controlling activities, providing critical financial analysis to aid management decision-making. You will report to both internal and MBAG stakeholders, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and compliance.
You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment where data is key and can analyze large datasets to uncover insights. You'll bring strong analytical skills to the table, with experience using tools like Excel and PowerBI, and have an interest in leveraging SAP systems. In this role, you will support the financial evaluation of all Mercedes-Benz Cars product pricing proposals and ensure accurate evaluations versus plan and secure approvals according to company authority rules. Your insights will be crucial in reviewing and reporting to management in line with Region Europe approval processes and timelines.
You will support the financial evaluation of Parts and Service pricing and campaign proposals, ensuring they meet targets and are approved according to company rules. Month-end activities will include postings of accruals/provisions and balance reconciliations, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards and MBAG deadlines.
Your role will also involve operative planning for New Vehicle Pricing/Specification and Parts and Service, integrating actual performance into planning and MAD discussions while aligning with MBAG guidelines. Additionally, you will ensure timely and accurate invoicing of MBC car scheme vehicles, with support from an Industrial Placement student.
You will be responsible for internal controls related to New Vehicle Pricing & Customer Service Controlling, providing sufficient evidence to meet requirements, identifying potential financial risks, and working towards solutions within MBAG deadlines.
To be successful in this role you'll have excellent communication skills and be able to work seamlessly with both finance and non-finance teams, and have the skill for solving complex problems.
