Our client are an international EPC contractor in renewable energy with experience in delivering successful projects in the Australian market. About the Role Based on-site, you will coordinate closely with the project delivery team to ensure prompt responses to notifications, variations, and project needs for a BESS installation project. You will communicate with direct staff, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure the contract scope is delivered in compliance with legal obligations. Role and Responsibilities Managing subcontractors and suppliers until project completion, including evaluating and negotiating delay claims, variation requests, extension of time requests, and dispute notices. Assessing and approving subcontract variations, ensuring they meet the entitlements under the head contract. Ensuring compliance with the Security of Payment Act when assessing and processing subcontractor payment claims. Assisting with and reviewing the forecast cost to complete, based on timelines, internal charge-out rates, known and estimated costs, and detailed assessments of subcontractor status, including approved, submitted, and anticipated variations, along with any applicable back charges. Skills & Experience
8 years EPC contract management experience Engineering / Commercial degree/ related qualification Proficient in negotiating, drafting and managing standard form or proprietary contracts Good communication skills both verbal and written in order to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders within a matrix organization Experience working in an international matrix organizational structure Experience in EPC environment, preferably in Renewable Energy Benefits
