About the opportunity: As Continuous Process Improvement Analyst you will collaborate closely with the Continuous Process Improvement Manager to identify, analyse, and enhance processes across various functional areas within our organisation. Instrumental in driving efficiency, productivity, and quality enhancements throughout Holcim ANZ, you will leverage continuous improvement methodologies to understand and optimise processes, streamline operations, and contribute to our overall success.
You will also contribute significantly to various process improvement projects across our businesses, providing an opportunity to deepen understanding of our operations and empower knowledge retention initiatives across teams.
Detailed responsibilities for the role include: Conducting comprehensive analysis of existing processes and procedures across various functional areas with a focus on predominately National Operations including finance systems, processes and procedures as well as supporting other companywide continuous process improvement initiatives.Developing and implementing process improvement initiatives in collaboration with other departments and stakeholders.Developing and maintaining detailed documentation of processes, including SOPs and process flowcharts.Providing training and guidance to staff on newly implemented processes and procedures.Helping to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track and evaluate the effectiveness of process improvement initiatives.Assisting in maintaining a tracker of continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and resource requirements.Providing support on projects related to process improvement, ensuring adherence to project management methodologies.About you: To be successful in this important role you will need:
Tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, and/or a related field.Certifications in process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt, Black Belt), Kaizen, or other relevant certifications will be highly valued.Credible experience in process improvement or a related field in large, complex organisations.Understanding of the construction industry is preferred.Solid analytical and problem-solving skills - essential for effective process improvement initiatives.Experience in understanding finance systems and processes, with a particular focus on finance back-office processes.Experience in process mapping (BPMN 2.0)Strong depth of experience with process mapping and documentation.Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.High energy with a willingness to learn and a self-starting attitude.Strong interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, and with all functions.This is an outstanding opportunity to grow your career within our world leading business.
