You will be part of our Flavours/Taste & Wellbeing business. You will lead the execution of continuous improvement projects across the entire value chain of our industrial operations in Argentina, to promote and implement best practices, reinforce a continuous improvement mindset and improve non-value added activities. You will report into the Continuous Improvement Manager.
You will work on-site at our manufacturing mill located at Munro, Buenos Aires Province.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Strategy design and executionContribute to the design of the local Continuous Improvement strategy and deployment plans for the site.Design and implement related projects to meet local Operations goals.Identify and measure improvement opportunities proactively together with site Operations teams, and use best tools/methods from the Lean toolbox to develop solutions and implement these.Help apply available continuous improvement tools to develop solutions.Maintain continuous improvement documents (SOP, SLA, SIPOC, VSM, among others).Provide support in the implementation of performance management (Development of indicators, dashboards, among others).Project managementGuide project leaders in the application of Lean and Six Sigma concepts and improvement tools during the design and execution of solutions.Challenge existing processes and coach project teams in applying problem-solving to develop solutions and initiate change.Build Continuous Improvement capabilitiesProvide basic continuous improvement training to meet capacity development goals and promote a culture of continuous improvement.Guide operations teams in applying effective problem-solving tools to develop sustainable solutions.Continuous Improvement Maturity DevelopmentLead the site's continuous improvement Maturity Program, developing action plans, managing resources and providing support to employees involved to meet the goals.You If you are someone who wants to shape your world, who excels in being in a culture where you can express yourself in a creative team environment, who wants to collaborate and learn together with teams who are as passionate as you are, then join us - and improve your world.
Your professional profile includes:
University degree in Engineering or related discipline.LEAN certification preferred.Project management certification preferred.At least 3 years of experience in Continuous Improvement-related roles at manufacturing sites, preferably with background in the chemicals or food industries.Experience in product processing and industrialization processes.Experience in project management using TPM, KPI, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing and project controlling tools.Knowledge of process mapping and design, and of value chain diagnostics tools.Knowledge of financial concepts (e.g. OPEX, CAPEX) and tools (e.g. SAP).Upper-intermediate level of English, both oral and written.At Givaudan, you contribute to delightful taste and scent experiences that touch people's lives.
