JOB DESCRIPTION A Commercial Business Partner (CBP) is expected to:
Perform the Commercial review of cloud and on-premise quotes via internal quoting systems in a timely, efficient, and consistent manner.Act as a primary point of contact representing the overall commercial finance team to the business.Provide guidance on holistic deal structuring across all LOBs, as opposed to simply sharing knowledge.Anticipate subsequent questions and problematic topics.Act as a leader across all deal support functions (including GCO, CDS, O2I, and other DOA approvers) for complex deals.Possess a deep understanding of the strategic positioning of SAP's commercial structures, as well as business and financial risks they can present.Confidently and competently engage with account teams, strategic sales teams, senior management, deal support colleagues, etc., catering messaging based on the audience.Develop independent opinions and take the necessary steps to validate and communicate these opinions.Understand and embrace the "business partner / transformation agent" mentality.Experience At least 3-5 years of experience in the finance or commercial areas with a proven performance track record.Self-motivated.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.Flexible/Agile.Ability to network in the different disciplines and departments and to other organizational units.Strong team player, proactive, and service-oriented.Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to work under time pressure and deadlines, while managing multiple tasks and projects.About the Team The North America Commercial Finance team strives to provide best-in-class deal support and business partnership with the North America Sales organization.
