Description
We are seeking an experienced Azure Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing Azure compute solutions, developing for Azure storage, implementing Azure security, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing Azure solutions, connecting to and consuming Azure services and third-party services, and understanding Azure network services such as DNS, Front Door, and global DNS. Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Terragrunt, and Tfsec, as well as Github and Hashicorp tools, is also required.
Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deploy Azure compute solutions using Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Functions, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Event Grid, Azure Redis Cache, and Azure SQL. Manage and deploy applications on Kubernetes clusters in Azure Monitor and scale the infrastructure to ensure high availability and reliability Implement security measures such as RBAC, network policies, and TLS encryption to protect the Kubernetes environment from unauthorized access and data breaches Develop and deploy new applications on the Kubernetes platform Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kubernetes networking and connectivity between pods and services Collaborate with other teams to ensure the smooth operation of the Kubernetes environment Stay up-to-date with the latest Kubernetes features and best practices Develop applications that use Azure storage services such as Azure Blob Storage, Azure Files, and Azure Queue Storage Implement security controls in Azure solutions using Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID), Azure Key Vault, and Azure defender Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Azure solutions using Azure Monitor, DataDog Monitoring Tool and Azure Log Analytics, and other Azure services Connect to and consume Azure services and third-party services using API development and integration techniques, authentication and authorization protocols, message-based and event-driven integration patterns, and technologies such as Azure Logic Apps, Event Grid and Azure Functions. Use infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Terragrunt to manage Azure resources and deployments Use Tfsec to ensure security compliance in Terraform code Use Github for version control and collaboration on code development Use Hashicorp tools such as Vault and Consul for secrets management and service discovery Design and implement Azure network services such as DNS, Front Door, and global DNS to improve application performance and availability Ensure that Azure network services are configured securely and in compliance with industry standards and best practices Qualifications Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field 3 to 5 years of experience in developing Azure solutions Strong understanding of Azure compute services, Azure storage services, and Azure security services Experience with Azure monitoring and logging services, troubleshooting techniques, and performance optimization techniques Familiarity with API development and integration techniques, authentication and authorization protocols, and message-based integration patterns and technologies Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Terragrunt, and Tfsec Experience with Github for version control and collaboration on code development Experience with Hashicorp tools such as Vault and Consul for secrets management and service discovery Strong understanding of Azure network services such as DNS, Front Door, and global DNS Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
