Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience in managing projects and delivering technical solutions.
4 years of experience working in a cloud computing environment (i.e., infrastructure, storage, platforms or data).
4 years of experience with architecting, developing, and maintaining technical solutions by leveraging virtual machines, containers (e.g., Kubernetes/Google Kubernetes Engine), serverless computing, or Software Defined Networking (SDN).
Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently as this is a customer-facing role that requires interactions in English and Spanish with local stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:Experience in customer-facing migrations, including service discovery, assessment, planning, execution, and operations.
Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
Experience with Kubernetes, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
Excellent communication, presentation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to architect or explain complex systems interactions including data flows, common interfaces, APIs, and methods available.

As an Application Modernization Cloud Consultant, you will work directly with Google's most strategic customers on critical application development and modernization projects to help them transform their businesses. You will provide consulting, program management and technical expertise to customers while working with client executives and key technical leaders to drive adoption of modern applications and cloud native products on Google Cloud Platform.
In this role, you will work with customers on application re-design and implementation, including application scaling, reliability, and ongoing operations such as application and feature rollouts, monitoring, and more. Additionally, you will work closely with product management and product engineering to build and facilitate excellence in our products.

Responsibilities Work with customer development leads, client executives, and partners to manage and deliver successful modern cloud applications. Be a trusted advisor to decision makers throughout the engagement.
Propose solution architectures and manage the deployment of cloud native application development solutions according to complex customer requirements and implementation best practices.
Work with internal Specialists, Product, and Engineering teams to package approaches, best practices, and lessons learned into thought leadership, methodologies, and published assets.
Interact with sales, partners, and customer technical stakeholders to manage project scope, priorities, deliverables, risks and issues, and timelines for successful client outcomes.
