DescriptionJob Specification: Automotive Infotainment Base Software Engineer Education & Training Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Electronics & Communication/Electrical Engineering or in a relevant stream.Experience 4 to 8 years' experience in software development.Successful track record and experience in developing software independently.Mandatory Skills Good understanding of the automotive infotainment domain with relevant project experience.Experience in Linux/Android platforms.Debugging skills to troubleshoot problems in any layer of the Linux Platform.Good knowledge in Linux Interprocess communications.Programming experience in C/C++ (Preferably Modern C++).Tools: GIT, Popular Linux Build Systems (CMake, Make, Yocto).Good knowledge of Test driven development (Unit and Module testing).Excellent Communication and Teamwork skills.Desired Skills Know-how in programming languages like GO, Python, Rust, etc.Familiarity with continuous integration.Knowledge about runtime-performance, resource-consumption, and inter-task synchronization mechanisms.Knowledge of cloud technologies like Kubernetes, Azure/AWS/GCP.Experience with Some/IP, Car network simulation, Adaptive Autosar, etc.Experience on Board bring-up activity.Job Responsibilities Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications.Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C/C++ code.Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.Documentation of High Level, Low Level design, Source code, and Unit Tests.Communication with partners, suppliers, and within the team.OrganizationMercedes-Benz Research and Development India Private Limited Primary LocationIndia-Karnataka-Bangalore
