The Sunship team aims to solve real world problems by empowering individuals to securely and conveniently manage their finances in the digital era. Live in over 15 countries, our digital wallet, Vibrant, allows users across the world to buy, sell, store, send and receive USDC, ultimately offering individuals control over their finances. Vibrant is seeking a new CEO to own and lead all aspects of the Sunship business, including strategy, product building, engineering, go-to-market and business development. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading teams, building and operating businesses, and successful customer success strategies, all with an entrepreneurial spirit and grit that will enable them to build an impactful company.
In this role you will:Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy aligned with the company's objectives, mission and values.Partner with team leaders to drive high-level decisions around strategy, business acumen, market growth, technology, and customer acquisition.Further define the product vision and roadmap to achieve annual performance metrics, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market trends.Identify and mitigate potential risks, such as legal issues, financial risks, and operational challenges.Stay up-to-date on regulatory and compliance frameworks in relevant geographies.Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and reporting, including revenue growth, cost management, and profitability analysis.Recruit, hire, manage and engage a high-performing team, creating an environment promoting strong performance and positive teamwork while moving the group towards business growth.Represent Sunship at conferences, events, and other venues and contribute to Vibrant's position as a leader in the industry.You have:10+ years of proven leadership experience in the fintech or payments space, delivering a track record of leading teams, projects or companies and effectively motivating teammates to achieve shared goals and navigate challenges.Demonstrated experience building businesses, creating strategies to curb unprecedented challenges, and possession of a network to build relevant partnerships.Strong experience in product management and development of product roadmaps, with an understanding of systems architecture.Run the operations of a business and are great at building relationships across markets and functions.Exceptional problem solver skills, accompanied with very strong analytical skills, and are capable of breaking down complex issues and bringing structure into business cases.Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with a network of senior-level professionals, as well as sound judgment, poise in professional settings, and self-awareness.Experience in the blockchain or cryptocurrency industry, and an understanding of the ecosystem and marketplace.Experience working in emerging markets, especially LATAM.We offer competitive pay for this position inclusive of a base salary, bonus, and equity grant (options).
