Mercedes-Benz Group Services Poland (MBGSPL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz Group AG. As a Finance Operations Center for the AG and its subsidiaries, we offer innovative solutions in the areas of finance and controlling. Founded in 2024, we are currently in a strong development phase and want to develop quickly to contribute to the success of the Group in Krakow.
Become part of our management team as soon as possible and take on a leading role as Chief Accounting Officer.
These are your tasks:
· Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
· Ensure compliance with Polish accounting standards (KSR) and IFRS.
· Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes.
· Prepare and review financial statements and reports.
· Manage the preparation and submission of VAT returns and other tax filings.
· Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors.
· Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
· Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management.
· Support budgeting process & plan, support management and overview company's cash flow
· Lead and mentor the accounting team (1-2 colleagues), fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
· Responsible for two operational teams: Asset Accounting and Intercompany Accounting for Mercedes Benz AG Plants, each led by a Team Lead and comprising 30 employees in total

Qualifications
Qualification
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
· Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification.
· Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience
· In-depth knowledge of Polish accounting standards (KSR) and IFRS.
· Strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance in Poland.
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
· Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
· Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
· Fluent in Polish and English, both written and spoken.
