With more than 1,300 employees, Chevron Service Center (Buenos Aires Shared Service Center - BASSC), located in Buenos Aires (Puerto Madero), Argentina, provides solutions in the areas of Finance, IT, Downstream, Human Resources, Procurement and Audit to the global organization and is launching its Internship Program.
The selected candidates will join the BASSC Supply Chain team.
Initial Responsibilities Support in the issuance of reports and their analysis.Maintenance of digital tools (SharePoint, Power BI Dashboards).Supplier analysis.Benchmarking.Catalog updating.Follow-up of invoices / payments.Additional Responsibilities Analyze and extract insights from datasets related to the acquisition of goods and services from suppliers.Conduct price and market analysis to identify benchmarking opportunities and provide market reports that support strategic decision-making.Vendor management: analyze vendor performance metrics and support sourcing events.Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders.Requirements Advanced students of business administration, industrial engineering, or related fields.Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.Proficient in English, both written and oral.Ability to analyze and visualize data using intermediate MS Excel functions.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.Proactiveness in proposing and implementing streamlined supply chain management processes.Ability to handle a diverse workload and multiple tasks with accuracy under minimal supervision.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.Hours per week: 20 hours.
Internship duration: 12 months, with the possibility of extending for 6 more months.
